I stayed in the 4 ppl mix room in a different building. It was quiet and clean. Soap and toilet paper always available. It’s a walking distance from the main important sports to visit.

There is a free chocolate chip pancake breakfast with choice of peanut butter or corn syrup. The wifi works well. The kitchen seemed well equipped, although we didn't use it. You receive your sheets and towel inclusive of the cost. There are small lockers to lock up your valuables, bring your own lock. You do have to remove your shoes which means the hostel rooms don't smell.

I love the cleanliness and sharing. I was never waiting long on people to use the facilities. I love that it's 2-3 doors close to a nearby grocery market and pricing is better than CVS and walgreens. It's also close to a hispanic restaurant, very good food. Guests are friendly and staff are amazing and friendly. Love that they have a filter water refrigerator so I simply refill my water bottle and trek throughout the city. Love how they were able to accommodate my luggages!!! The hostel is near several metro rails and bus line to access, the yellow rail is a good one to take to/ from the DCA airport.

I wish there is provision for breakfast for people with certain allergies as myself or at least a discount for them having to get own breakfast. I love the place, it is easy going and caring. Plenty storage place!!

This place exceeded my expectations. In the middle of my trip, I was supposed to switch to another hostel to the DC International Hostel, but I had a horrible experience there. And the manager of the Duo housing was really helpful in getting my new booking back at Duo housing. If you're ok to pay slightly more money, please choose Duo housing, and never think about choosing DC International Hostel.
